this war drags on

I now crusade home

I pass by previous Places of slaughter

That lead me straight into an ambush

all place are still scarred by the atrocities

that happened there

I haven't gotten near home yet

but by the looks of it, Home may be gone too

I hope the bridge home isn't destroyed completely

A sunny day

a breeze caresses from my left shoulder to my right

as if the wind was hugging me

in front of me

an army of white clad angels

of the purest form

stand before me

on top of a hill poised for battle

a steep, jagged hill. not much for climbing up

I look to my left, i see

adulterers, criminals, murderers, and evildoers

I look to my right, i see

Demons, devils, fiends, and Gods rejected creatures

I give the command

the tattered and torn banners

blow in the wind, like serpens after prey

up we go

fighting heavens mightiest warriors

we will be victorious though

for we are Gods finest.

This poem is not liked to well by the really religious. I must clarify that this poem is spoken in view of the crowd that jesus would hang around. he would always be around the "bad" and "evil" crowd. the angels in the poem represent those who think that they are perfect christians in a way. that evil is evil and isn't worth a try to save.

i've been told that

I am crazy

for

chasing after a girl

she is no girl, she is an angel

perfectly flawed

She appeared in my darkest hour

brought hope and victory

when all was lost

Now it is my turn to repay the favor

I send all my troops to her aid

I sacrifice everything for her

everything

for she is my angel

and i am merely a human knight

I fell in love with an angel

I know so because no human possesses such beauty

the sharpness of her mind, the look in her eye

No matter how hard i try and fight

the battle is lost

before it begins

i cannot fight the fact that i love an angel.

My life, soul whatever it takes

to be hers again.
